Exploring the Future of CPR Training with IMLAB at the 2021 International Fire & Safety Expo Korea

IMLAB participated in the 2021 International Fire & Safety Expo Korea, held over three days from November 24 to 26. At the exhibition, we set up hands-on experience areas for CPR Remote and CPR Class, giving visitors a chance to see how IMLAB's CPR training solutions can be used and adapted in real training environments. CPR Class, IMLAB's large-scale CPR training solution, supports two training modes: feedback mode and mission mode. Feedback mode enables real-time guidance for large groups of learners, while mission mode turns CPR practice into a game-like competitive experience. At the expo, we operated a hands-on zone using CPR Class mission mode and ran an event where participants received prizes based on their scores.

CPR Training at Chunyang Middle School Seobyeok Branch with Yeongju Fire Station

Hello, this is Cube. Today we are sharing a CPR training session conducted with Yeongju Fire Station. The session was held for 12 middle school students and included one hour of CPR theory followed by one hour of hands-on practice. The training used existing manikins upgraded with IMLAB Add-on Kits, allowing students to see real-time CPR feedback during practice. Instructor Jumi Jeon led the session, combining live feedback from the equipment with real-time coaching on student posture and technique. Students used their own smartphones to check and save their results, compare progress with one another, and take an active role in the training. As travel season approaches, CPR training can be a practical way for families and communities to prepare before an emergency happens.

CPR Training for Teachers at Bongseong Elementary School with Yeongju Fire Station

Hello, this is Cube. On July 21, Yeongju Fire Station held a CPR training session for teachers who work with young children. For educators responsible for children, CPR is one of the essential skills that can help them respond quickly when a sudden emergency occurs. The session covered CPR for adults, children, and infants. Instructor Jumi Jeon led the training with both infant and adult manikins, creating practice conditions that were close to real emergency situations. IMLAB's Add-on Kit uses calibration settings for adult and infant manikins, helping provide more accurate feedback. Instead of measuring only force and pace, it can track depth, rate, and recoil, giving teachers practical data they can use to build confidence in performing CPR. We hope more students and teachers in schools have the opportunity to learn CPR, so that more people can respond without hesitation when help is needed.

The Danish Miracle: Christian Eriksen Saved by CPR

Hello, this is Cube. Today, I want to share a story about how a quick response saved a player I admire. This isn't an old story; it happened recently, on June 13th. He was one of Son Heung-min's closest teammates at Tottenham, and as a Tottenham supporter myself, I know him very well. During a group stage match between Denmark and Finland at the UEFA European Championship (Euro 2021), he collapsed and lost consciousness. It was truly heartbreaking news. Fortunately, he has now recovered enough to send greetings to his teammates. If CPR hadn't been administered within 5 minutes of his collapse, he might never have woken up. The waiting medical team rushed over, quickly confirmed his cardiac arrest, and began CPR. His teammates formed a circle around Eriksen, blocking the view, which allowed them to hear him better and assess his condition. While it also served to shield him, it was a brilliant action, especially considering the CPR procedure. The referee, seein...

Case Study: IMLAB at Arab Health 2021, Dubai

Hello, this is Cube. Last week, after a year-long hiatus due to the pandemic, we finally attended an overseas exhibition. Although we didn't have our own dedicated booth, NASCO showcased our products. Our sales representative attended in person, having completed vaccination two weeks prior, which was possible for those in reserve forces or civil defense. They navigated the strict entry and exit procedures to travel to Dubai. Despite the ongoing pandemic, a significant number of participants attended the exhibition. Our products were displayed at the NASCO booth, where the main display featured a demonstration video of our 'CPR Add-on Kit' App. NASCO's Basic Buddy and Prompt+ manikins, when used with our IMLAB app, allow for real-time CPR data monitoring on smartphones or tablet PCs. Additionally, our cprCUBE PRO model was introduced, emphasizing the importance of accurate chest compressions, especially given the restrictions on artificial respiration due to COV...
